UCLA coaching search update:

UCLA:
This search has been centered more on who won’t be the next head coach at UCLA rather than who is going to be the next head coach.  Chris Peterson, Kevin Sumlin, and Al Golden have reportedly all told UCLA no.  Greg Roman (OC 49ers), Jim Mora Jr. (former HC Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons), Steve Mariucci (former HC California, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers), Mike Martz (OC Chicago Bears), and Jack Del Rio (former Jacksonville Jaguars HC) are all rumored to either be interested in the job or UCLA has interest in them.  This search may take a couple more weeks as UCLA gauges interest and allows the NFL coaching carousel begin to take shape.  It appears they are trying to recreate the Pete Carroll hire that USC made a few years ago and I would recommend approaching that with caution.  More names will develop in the next week and then I will have more to report.
